Bodily remains, objects used, products or remnants of important individuals or which are attributed to them, kept in sacred places and venerated in religious cult; in Christian tradition, particularly the mortal remains of the body (or blood stored in a flask) of martyrs of the faith, the instruments of their martyrdom, or also the body of a saint.
